The Inogen One mobile oxygen concentrators continuously measures multiple parameters to ensure safe and effective use. This also monitors the quality of the columns (also called seven). The columns are an important part of the concentrator because they filter the nitrogen from the ambient air. This leaves concentrated oxygen.
If the quality of the screens deteriorates, the message ‘O2 Timely Maintenance’ appears in the display. From the moment the message appears, you can safely use the concentrator for 30 days. To make the message disappear temporarily, you can press the button with a picture of a light for three seconds. After 72 hours the message will come back again.
The expected lifetime of Inogen One columns is 18 to 36 months. It is advisable to use the concentrator regularly, then the columns remain the longest. With regular use, these are properly dried. Moisture is very bad for an oxygen concentrator.
